Big Nature is delighted to announce the launch of Nature 2020 - a year long calendar of inspiring events to recognise the end of the International Decade of Biodiversity. Check out Nature 2020 for more information.
In 2017 the first discussions were had about doing something to celebrate the then expected International Year of Biodiversity. A group of people from a range of interested groups across the Biosphere got together and started to plan what we could do.
This event was a great success with a range of groups attending the event in the foyer of the Brighton Centre.

David Bellamy gave away 500 native trees for the citizens of Brighton and Hove to promote an active interest in backyard biodiversity.
This conference was instrumental in showing the strength of concern for our local Biodiversity from which grew support for the development of Brighton and Lewes Downs Biosphere Reserve now designated by UNESCO.
